Celina Silva

Described as having poetic songwriting and a silvery voice, Celina explores themes of childhood, healing, identity, and grief and loss through her songwriting. She holds a BA in Poetry from UVic, which intersects with her affinity for songwriting. She has a love of harmony and choral music that began with her many years singing in Corazon Vocal Ensemble. Since a teen Celina has engaged in music communities through mentorships, open mics, and workshops locally and on-line, studying with musicians such as Aspen Switzer, Jessica Benini, Joline Baylis, and Emily Millard. When Celina is not singing and writing songs, she is a clinical counsellor.
